Celebrating Vicky Teinaki

This is so sad. Vicky & I worked in the same DWP team a few years back. She was an enormous influence and inspiration to how we worked then - and to how I continue to help teams work to their best today. I still quote her wisdom today. We had many good chat together, often in Spanish to help her practice. She was feisty and passionate character who wore her heart on her sleeve. I thankfully was allowed in to her friendship as one of few Brits who could pronounce ""Whangarei"" properly - never mind know where it is. Accessibility, culture, travel, people - her zest for life put all this before herself. She'll be a huge miss to so many people - the way this country operates will suffer without her such was her influence and importance - though she'll have hated to admit or recognise that.
