Celebrating Vicky Teinaki

So sad and shocked with the news that this happened. I met Vicky when I made the decision to move in the UX world. We didn’t know each other but she agreed straight away to meet and have a coffee. We had a nice chat, I was so lost and I told her all about my worries and thoughts that were going through my mind. She was so calm and knowledgeable. We talked as well about how hard can it be to be a foreigner, a woman and finding your own path in the tech world. She was really into Spanish and she told me all about her trips to Spain. In a nutshell she helped me a lot at the time and kept in touch since then and would always be appreciative and thankful of how she was with me and with everyone. I saw her in person towards the end of the year. NUX members came to where I work as they were part of an event we were organising. She was there and I was so glad I thank her for all her help and support she gave me. It was a great mentor for me. Sorry Vicky that you left us so soon. Thank you for everything. You will be thoroughly missed.
