Bereft. I was so certain we'd go on another adventure together. I remember us traipsing through the snow in Colorado, hopping through the rain in Dublin, and strolling through leafy Boston. And exploring Newcastle, of course! We shared a passion for travel, design and community. Your advice was invaluable, no matter if it was about working in the civil service, lash extensions, the most practical yet fashionable travel coat, or heartbreak. We bonded over choosing to live our lives far from home, and I will always remember you sharing your parents story with me and talking about your sister. You were so proud of her, and she was the first person I thought of when I got the terrible news that we lost you. I was lucky to have you as part of my support group of women, especially during the pandemic. You always found the most hilarious memes to cheer us all up! I struggle to come to terms with this new world were you aren't just a message away. Your perspective and insight were tremendous and will be so so missed. I'll think of you when I have a pumpkin spice latte (the proper stuff, of course), when I see a mustard coat, when I'm on a solo trip. You'll always be here, my friend.
